Eclipse 70 VG is a selective, soil and vegetation herbicide against annual deciduous and some cereal weeds in tomatoes, potatoes, alfalfa, soybeans, wheat and others. The active substance in Eclipse 70 VG (metribuzin) belongs to the herbicidal group of triazinones. Once in the plant tissues of weeds, metribuzin inhibits the processes of photosynthesis in photosystem II. As a result, weeds stop growing and die.
